About MANLU
In my sixth year of retirement, I got hooked on a new kind of game: AI.
For two years now I've spent time with it every day: asking it questions, writing code together, watching it paint and compose. I've always loved music. A guzheng in the mountains, rain at night, chanting at dawn: sounds like these slow you down. So one day I thought, why not make some myself and put it on YouTube?
To my surprise, people liked it. Some come back for an episode every day; some write to say it helped them unwind, body and mind. With people listening like that, I couldn't keep treating it as a toy. I started choosing every track and adjusting every frame, and somewhere along the way it became a small music studio.
That's MANLU Music. The name comes from a line in the ancient poem Li Sao, “Long, long is the road ahead” (路漫漫其修遠兮). I'm not walking it fast, but I walk it every day.
